SICAME strengthens its German market position
with the acquisition of the PRO-EL Group.
“Access to possible proprietary transactions is something we rarely achieve, but it was made possible by the BMA team, which is why they are an excellent source of ideas and an ideal partner for us in realizing our growth strategy in the German market.”
Philippe Armand
Former Head of M&A of SICAME Group
Sicame, a French industrial company, has specialized in products & services related to transport and distribution of electrical energy, renewables, electro-mobility, safety equipment and industrial applications. Headquartered in France, the Group operates in 26 countries across 5 continents through 50 companies, distributing its products in 157 countries.
Within the context of Sicame’s strategic growth initiative for the German market, the group has exclusively engaged the BMA team to assist in executing the accelerated growth plan by identifying and acquiring suitable targets.
With the acquisition of the German company PRO-EL and its subsidiary PRO-CHARGE, Sicame confirms its ambitions to grow its Service division. PRO-EL specializes in training & consulting services for electrical safety. The 100%-subsidiary PRO-CHARGE has established itself as a pioneer in the field of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles in the B2B sector.
For Sicame, this acquisition will not only establish a strong presence in the German electro-mobility market but also enhance the service division’s offering, boost the Group's technical expertise, and accelerate the global expansion of its service portfolio. Joining the Sicame Group allows PRO-EL to tap into a comprehensive international network of partners, supporting its ambitious growth plans.
The BMA team is delighted to have managed the complete transaction process, providing Sicame with comprehensive advisory services at every stage of the acquisition process - from identifying and approaching potential targets to negotiating, coordinating due diligence, and finalizing contract discussions.
