As an owner-managed and independent company, Dr. Bartels M&A Consulting concentrates on supporting and advising its clients in the context of company disposals, expansion through the acquisition of companies and capital raising. To strengthen our young and dynamic team, we are looking for a (Senior) Consultant (f/m/d) as soon as possible. We offer you the opportunity to work in a highly motivated team and to contribute to the implementation of complex M&A projects in a national and international environment.

What tasks are waiting for you? You will be part of a project team and work on the generation and implementation of complex M&A projects (company acquisitions and sales as well as capital raising).

Your tasks will include in particular:

  • Assumption of responsibilities for (sub-)projects
  • Preparation of investment memoranda and other marketing documents
  • Conducting company analyses and preparing integrated financial models
  • Application of various valuation techniques
  • Coordination of due diligence and Q&A processes as well as management of virtual data rooms
  • Development and execution of target screenings
  • Independent research activities on companies, markets and potential investors
  • Approach of and communication with potential investors
  • Preparation of and participation in pitch presentations as part of the acquisition of new clients
  • Support in the preparation and negotiation of purchase and investment agreements

Direct client contact from all team members is particularly important to us in all cases!

What should you ideally contribute? Our aim is to build long-term professional relationships and to achieve an ideal result for our clients through optimal teamwork, which is why we place particular emphasis on the "personal fit" between you and us. Communicative, open and flexible personalities are a particularly good fit for our team.

Your profile should also meet the following criteria:

  • Successfully completed studies in economics or another discipline with a focus on economics and very good academic performance
  • Sound knowledge in the field of accounting
  • Knowledge in the field of business valuation
  • Very good analytical and conceptual skills
  • Strong knowledge in the use of MS-Office (mainly Excel and Power Point)
  • Experience with relevant M&A databases and internet research is a plus
  • Very good German and English language skills
  • First practical experience in relevant areas
